Happy Birthday Dada!
Today was Dave's birthday. We spent a great evening together with family trying to bless Dave with all his favorites- PF Changs for dinner, chocolate fondu for dessert, and lots of fun with the kiddos. It was just a small way to thank Dave for all he does for our family. He works so hard so that I can stay home with the kids, and while he feels he has the best job on the planet, I know he loves being at home with us even more. Dave, thanks for leading and loving our family. Thank you for bringing such fun and fellowship to our home. The kids and I have such a great example of what it looks like to love the Savior. I am so grateful that the kids have a front seat into the life of such a godly man. I am so grateful to the Lord for you, our marriage, and our family. We love you very much!!

Game Night
Game night at the Brewer house is of course not the norm. We don't play normal kid games like Candyland or Chutes and Ladders. When Dave is in charge he comes up with crazy games. On this night we played Dodgeball- with little plastic balls in a narrow hallway. Only my sweet husband would think of this game with little kids. Of course, the kids absolutely loved it! They love anything that their Dad comes up with!

#4
Some people ask how I do it with four kids. Well, it definitely helps when Sarah does this.....guess she realizes when she cries and I don't come right away, or let's be honest, not even in 10 minutes, she has no choice but to sleep where she is. You'll notice that this happened not once, but twice. My sweet little girl!

First Snow
Well, it's the end of January and we finally got our first snow. It started snowing while we were at church and the girls started asking right away if they could go outside, but Dave had to work and there was no way I was attempting taking all four out by myself. Even after his long day, Dave graciously agreed to take the three older kids outside when he got home. What a great Dad!! Notice it's dark outside. I'm sure the neighbors thought we were crazy. Oh well, it was a memory!! You'll notice the difference between the girls reaction and Caleb's reaction to the snow. He got hit with a snowball and obviously didn't like it all that much.
